WMR968 Home Weather Station

The Oregon Scientific Store -- Cable Free Complete Home Weather Station

"... Exciting, innovative wireless outdoor sensors operate on solar power for simple installation and sophisticated use. Every sensor necessary for total weather monitoring is included -- temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, wind speed and direction, and rainfall. The indoor touchscreen control sensor with bright blue HiGlo(tm) backlighting is only about 7" wide -- perfect for desktop or wall-mount use anywhere.

The unit displays and records over 20 separate weather conditions, selected by a press of the touch-sensitive, jumbo LCD display screen:
>> Barometric pressure and trend (accurate up to 13,000 feet)
>> Weather forecast
>> Indoor/outdoor temperatures
>> Wind speed/direction as well as wind chill
>> Indoor/outdoor dew points
>> Rainfall rate and daily/accumulated amounts
>> Hygrometer with indoor/outdoor relative humidity readings ..."

What a way to figure out just how fast these wind gusts here at Buccleuch are really ripping by! Hmm, and then hook it up to send out hourly reports to the net so we can know the real weather from DeeCee instead of guessing from other stations 25 - 40 miles away. heh

sounds good to me! I'd love to know how fast the wind is going - and all the weather reports are from down in the valley! Posted by: merb on December 25, 2002 10:25 PM
